Job Summary
Assevero Security Consulting LLC has several current openings for highly motivated and qualified security professionals. Successful candidates will support cybersecurity-related projects for a large client near Hanover Md.
They will perform the duties of an Information Systems Security Manager including:
- Overseeing security risks and compliance for assigned organizations and systems.
- Continuously monitoring enterprise compliance with security requirements
- Ensuring the quality of System Security Plans for assigned systems
- Promoting and enforcing information systems security policies
- Providing guidance and support to Information Systems Security Officers
- Addressing reported security incidents
- Coordinating with personnel in other information security roles
The successful candidate will also provide analysis of current business processes and help to formulate continuous improvement initiatives for the C&A and Continuous Monitoring processes and devise metrics for collecting data to evaluate the performance of ISS processes.
Qualifications for this position include 10 years directly related experience a B.S. degree in a relevant field excellent communications skills a current TS/SCI Security Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph. Level I or II DOD Cybersecurity Workforce Improvement Program (CWIP) Certification.
