Location: Springfield OH
Salary: $25 - $28/hr 25% Travel Bonus OT; Total Estimated Pay: $31.25/hr$37.50/hr

Field Service Technician (Maintenance or Mechanical exp req) Description
Our client a trusted name in the industrial equipment manufacturing industry is looking for a Field Service Technician to join their team in Springfield this role youll perform installations repairs and commissioning of heavy-duty OEM machinery both in-house and at customer sites across North America. Youll work on mechanical assembly pneumatics hydraulics and wiring while also learning to troubleshoot PLCs and controls systems. When not traveling youll support the assembly team on the production floor. This is a hands-on opportunity with consistent variety ongoing training and strong support in a well-established company with a great culture. Field Service Technician (Maintenance or Mechanical exp req) Responsibilities
Travel 25%50% for installations repairs and commissioning at customer sites
Assemble and troubleshoot mechanical pneumatic and electrical machine components
Wire and calibrate devices per schematics and manufacturer instructions
Assist with PLC troubleshooting and control panel wiring
Use hand and power tools to complete machine builds from blueprints
Communicate clearly with team and customers onsite and in-house
Maintain clean and safe workspaces and follow safety procedures
Train to wear a respirator and perform painting if needed
Lift 50 lbs work at heights and navigate stairs ladders and confined spaces
Help in other production areas as needed
Field Service Technician (Maintenance or Mechanical exp req) Qualifications
2 years of maintenance or mechanical assembly experience required
Strong mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting skills required
Ability to read and interpret blueprints & drawings required
Valid drivers license with clean driving record required
Ability to obtain a passport required
