Senior Electrical Engineer (PE) Healthcare Facilities

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience designing and managing complex electrical systems for large-scale hospital or major healthcare facility projects. This role requires a balance of technical expertise client interaction and leadership with a strong emphasis on compliance with healthcare codes and standards.
Responsibilities
Lead electrical engineering design for large healthcare facility projects (hospitals medical centers major healthcare campuses).
Develop power distribution lighting emergency power and low-voltage system designs.
Ensure compliance with NFPA NEC Joint Commission and healthcare-specific codes.
Coordinate with architects mechanical engineers and other stakeholders.
Mentor junior engineers and review design deliverables.
Conduct site visits inspections and support project commissioning.
Collaborate with clients during planning design and project execution.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (Masters a plus).
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
7 years of electrical engineering experience with at least 3 years focused on hospitals or major healthcare facilities.
Strong knowledge of healthcare codes and standards (NEC NFPA 70 NFPA 99 NFPA 101).
Experience with Revit AutoCAD and electrical modeling software preferred.
Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with clients.
Proven ability to lead and manage complex projects from concept through completion.
