The Tinley Park-Park District is seeking enthusiastic Adult Program Instructors to teach classes at our Recreation Center. As an independent contractor youll have the flexibility to create your own schedule and design unique programs that engage and inspire adults in our community. From arts and crafts to cooking fitness technology wellness or lifelong learning the possibilities are endless.
Teaching a class at the Tinley Park-Park District has many benefits:

- We handle all program registrations provide you with up-to-date rosters attendance sheets and waitlists.
- Flexible registration for participants who can register online in-person and by mail.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead engaging programs designed for adult participants.
- Provide clear instruction guidance and encouragement in your area of expertise.
- Foster a welcoming inclusive and positive class environment.
- Adapt instruction to meet different skill levels and learning styles.
- Ensure the safe and proper use of facilities equipment and materials.
- Arrive on time prepared and ready to create a high-quality participant experience.
Details:
- This is a contract position (you will receive a 1099 form)
- Contractual Instructors are responsible for their own taxes and insurance
ABOUT US: The Tinley Park-Park District is an award-winning public agency that provides its 55000 residents with a wide variety of recreation facilities programs events parks and open spaces. The Park District maintains over 40 parks 33 ball fields and several facilities which include the Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center White Water Canyon Water Park Canine Campus Dog Park Tinley Junction Miniature Golf & Batting Cages Vogt Visual Arts Center and the Tinley Park Performing Arts Center.
