Job Summary
Student Worker Parking Assistant
Number of Openings: 8
Purpose/Objective of the Role:
The Public Safety Department is seeking student employees to assist with on-campus parking policy enforcement and general support to Public Safety operations.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Assist the enforcement of the Universitys parking rules and regulations by conducting patrols of all campus parking lots.
Issue parking citations for violations
Assist Public Safety staff with parking-related operational support as assigned.
Document activities and incidents accurately and submit reports when required.
Provide courteous and professional assistance to community members.
Qualifications/Skills:
Student applicants must possess a valid drivers license and be eligible to become a registered OWU driver.
Ability to walk long distances and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Reliable responsible and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures consistently.
