Job Description
Job title: Dance Instructor YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg
Description: The YMCA of Greater St Petersburgs Dance Academy is looking for qualified reliable dance instructors for young dancer classes in ballet & hip hop for beginner levels as well as advanced ballet instructors for our growing dance program. Y Dance Academy (YDA) is a large non-profit dance program offering classes in all genres including an award winning competition team technique classes and a large end of year performance for all students. Students have the option of pursuing dance competitively or as a recreational passion.
Requirements:
- Instructors must have previous experience teaching a variety of dance genres to all age levels.
- References are required and videos of past work preferred.
- Part-time schedule with afternoon availability during the week. Program day/time may be flexible around candidates schedules.
- All instructors teach technique classes as well as choreograph for the end of year performance.

Locations: The candidate will work at one of YMCA Greater St. Petersburg locations depending on schedule
