Responsibilities
- Lead the design development and maintenance of software that powers Ninja Vans complex logistics operations.
- Take ownership of architecture and implementation for major features modules and end-to-end products.
- Manage and mentor engineering teams providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of excellence.
- Collaborate closely with product managers UX designers QA engineers and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of APIs ensuring seamless integration with third-party services where required.
- Ensure applications meet standards of performance security reliability and scalability.
- Guide the team in troubleshooting debugging and enhancing existing systems.
- Promote engineering best practices by encouraging clean maintainable and efficient code.
- Facilitate and participate in code reviews technical discussions and architectural decisions.
- Stay updated on emerging tools frameworks and industry best practices and drive their adoption where beneficial.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of industry experience in software development is required.
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer or in a similar technical role.
- At least 2 years of experience in leading/managing engineering teams is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML CSS/SCSS JavaScript and frameworks/libraries like and TypeScript.
- Solid back-end development expertise using Java or Golang (Golang preferred).
- Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL) and version control systems (e.g. Git).
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to drive collaboration across teams.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS GCP or Azure) is an advantage.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field is required.
