Responsibilities
Lead the design development and maintenance of software that powers Ninja Vans complex logistics operations.
Take ownership of architecture and implementation for major features modules and end-to-end products.
Manage and mentor engineering teams providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of excellence.
Collaborate closely with product managers UX designers QA engineers and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
Oversee the development and maintenance of APIs ensuring seamless integration with third-party services where required.
Ensure applications meet standards of performance security reliability and scalability.
Guide the team in troubleshooting debugging and enhancing existing systems.
Promote engineering best practices by encouraging clean maintainable and efficient code.
Facilitate and participate in code reviews technical discussions and architectural decisions.
Stay updated on emerging tools frameworks and industry best practices and drive their adoption where beneficial.
Requirements
Minimum 8 years of industry experience in software development is required.
Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer or in a similar technical role.
At least 2 years of experience in leading/managing engineering teams is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML CSS/SCSS JavaScript and frameworks/libraries like and TypeScript.
Solid back-end development expertise using Java or Golang (Golang preferred).
Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL) and version control systems (e.g. Git).
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to drive collaboration across teams.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS GCP or Azure) is an advantage.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field is required.
