Drainage Groundworker

What Youll Be Doing

Were seeking drainage specialists with strong skills in installation and external works. Your responsibilities will include:

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and site documentation

• Setting up and using trench boxes drag boxes and manhole boxes safely

• Installing drainage with precision using pipe lasers

• Laying concrete clay and plastic pipes of all sizes including correct bedding surrounds and testing

• Managing groundwater including pump selection and setup

• Backfilling trenches and benching manholes to a high standard

• Working safely around live services with strong service avoidance awareness

• Delivering external works including kerbs edgings slabs and block paving

• Applying detailed knowledge of materials for drainage road construction kerbing and landscaping

• Completing daily plant safety inspections and maintenance checks

What Were Looking For

• CSCS Skilled Worker card (or equivalent qualification)

• 5 years experience in groundworks and drainage (desirable)

• Additional CPCS/NPORS* tickets (Telehandlers Dumpers Rollers) desirable

• Experience leading or working within drainage gangs/teams
