Job Summary
Job Description:* Codes patient diagnosis operations and procedures utilizing the ICD-9 and in the future ICD-10 where appropriate CPT-4 classification systems for the purpose of internal clinical databases and reimbursement.* RHIT RHIA AHIMA or CSC preferred.* Associates Degree Health Information Technology required;* About 1 year prior healthcare experience preferred.*** Potential to work from home: We can consider candidates that will only be able to work remotely even from far away. We urgently need HIM Coders for multiple openings. Being located in the Olathe KANSAS area is best but can also be remote with appropriate registration.
