Role Overview
As Lead Developer youll guide the technical direction development and launch of our new software project. This role provides significant autonomy technical leadership and close collaboration with product and design teams to create scalable impactful software solutions.
What Youll Do
- Lead software development from architecture and design to coding testing and deployment.
- Drive architectural decisions and technical strategies aligned with our business vision.
- Build mentor and lead a high-performing development team.
- Work closely with product managers designers and company leadership to translate ideas into robust technical solutions.
- Conduct regular code reviews to maintain high standards for code quality and reliability.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and provide efficient solutions.
- Keep current with emerging technologies and integrate relevant innovations.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- Extensive software development experience including at least 2 years as a lead developer or architect.
- Strong expertise in Go and Python.
- Familiarity with JavaScript React or Java is a plus.
- Solid understanding of software architecture cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication leadership and problem-solving abilities.
This is an in-person role based at our Rockville Maryland office.
Candidates must be U.S. citizens or have valid authorization to work in the United States.
