The GET program is developed to give graduates the opportunity to rapidly develop in AkzoNobel and Manufacturing Department while having an international experience
During the graduate programme you will receive on-the-job training across diverse assignments in different areas: continuous improvement project engineering process engineering production planning and/or reliability engineering. Following this program you will have the opportunity to be deployed to another site within AkzoNobel in the same region. At the end of the graduate programme based on readiness and performance you will be assigned a final role in discussion with the Regional Manufacturing Organization from your host sites
Key Responsibilities during program
Actively participate in all site health safety environment quality and sustainability activities.
Use of statistical analysis and appropriate business excellence project management processes to identify areas of significant improvement and develops plans to realize the benefits
Investigate root cause of process failures develop solutions for non-conforming products and implement improvement plans.
Understand and improve Manufacturing strategy and input into site development plan based on current capabilities.
Adopt successful ideas from the external world and designs improved systems to meet business needs.
Utilise the integrated asset management program within the sites lean operating principles including the use of Work Management Tactics Hydrocarbon Management Condition Monitoring Defect Elimination Operate for Reliability Core Competencies and Metrics.
Uses data analysis and problem-solving methodologies to maximise plant and equipment effectiveness to achieve optimum life cycle cost of production equipment.
Generate and utilise charts and graphs to identify and analyze losses to prioritize opportunities for improvement

Requirements:
Fresh graduate with a positive attitude From Bachelor (or Masters degree) in Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
Maximum one-year experience
Exhibit high initiative and leadership in student organizations/extracurricular activities
Proficient in English (universally understood across other countries)
Fluent in own local language
Emotional Quotient (EQ). Healthy / polite challenge of ideas. Confidence
Open to relocation on local and global level
