Position Summary: The Compensation Analyst is responsible for preparing salary worksheetswhile reviewing editing and formatting job descriptions. The position will be responsible forauditing position requirements determining and auditing exempt status and determining paygrade. Assists with any compensation redesign effort by participating in various components ofcompensation innovation including conducting research leading discussions preparingproposals and communicating with project stakeholders and leadership. Explores salarysoftware capabilities to ensure the district is utilizing it to its maximum potential. TheCompensation Analyst is responsible for managing personnel actions on the Board Agendaincluding creates deletes position upgrades and position title changes. This position isresponsible for verifying and processing degree changes and salary adjustments.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors degree in human resources business administration related area orequivalent work experience in lieu of degree
Experience:
Three (3) years experience in Human Resources Compensation Project ManagementAnalysis Budget Finance HRIS or other related experience
Specialized Knowledge Licenses etc.:
Prefer CCP SHRM-CP or PHR certification
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
