About the role
The Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the establishment and ongoing operation of new regulatory functions at AEMO with a primary focus on the introduction of the security scheduling function under the Improving Security Frameworks (ISF) NEM Reform Project
What you will be doing
- Be responsible for developing monitoring and scheduling security services tools.
- Evaluation of tenders contracts and service providers market position.
- Provide advice and reporting on market outcomes security needs readiness reports procurements and new scheduling functions.
- Raise scheduling function risks and issues as they occur in BAU and provide key SME for their resolution.
- Within in the AEMO Operations Division you may be required to be part of a roster to support operational functions during emergency situations.
What you will bring to the role
- Knowledge of them NEM regulatory environment with an understanding of the different roles of AEMO AEMC AER and other relevant bodies.
- Ability to identify and clearly articulate problems and recommend solutions
- Experience driving results in energy operations
- Excellent communication skills clear concise and positive manner
