Job Summary:

We are Seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a 13-week contract to provide essential psychosocial support in the Emergency Department and other clinical settings as needed. The role requires strong clinical assessment skills ER experience and familiarity with crisis intervention and discharge planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments of patients and families
Perform evaluations for patients with behavioral health or psychosocial crises
Create and implement safe appropriate discharge plans in coordination with care teams
Refer patients to community services such as shelters long-term care or rehab centers
Collaborate with physicians psychiatric providers nurses and external partners
Document all assessments plans and interventions clearly in the EHR
Adhere to hospital safety confidentiality and infection control standards

Requirements:

Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
Active Massachusetts LCSW license (or eligible for temporary licensure)
12 years of hospital-based experience including Emergency Department work
Knowledge of crisis stabilization mental health assessments and substance use treatment resources
Availability for evening shifts rotating weekends and occasional holidays
