Job Description Summary
The Country Manager (f/m/d) Patient Care Solutions (PCS) Germany will be a member of the International PCS team and the Senior Leadership Team DACH.
(S)he is responsible for development and implementation of the PCS segment strategy for market share gain & profitable franchise growth driving orders profitable revenue growth and value creation through product & commercial strategies in Germany. This role will be partnering with the Commercial leaders Product leaders & Country/Regional leaders to drive through Solutions and Enterprise mindset customer satisfaction and business profitable growth.
(S)he will work closely with Region General Management Zone Key/Executive account managers Commercial Marketing Financing and International Segment Teams.
This role is ideally based in the southern half of Germany so that the future incumbent can travel in 1-2 hours to our German PCS HQ in Freiburg/Germany.

People Leadership & growth

- Lead coach and support a high-performing team to reach their full potential
- Retain & grow talent and continually develop pipeline for critical positions in partnership with human resources team
Strategic Engagement & Advisory
- Engage early with key stakeholders in public and private healthcare modernization programs
- Act as a senior advisor and coach to customer organizations helping scope challenges and architect solutions using the PCS portfolio and leverage the care area approach within GE HealthCare
- Act as the GE HealthCare face towards C Level and collaborate closely with other business units
Commercial Excellence
- Understand market and competitive dynamics to lead strategic discussions on product positioning and pricing
- Execute Value Creation and Care Area strategies tailored to local market needs
- Strengthen product management capabilities across segments modalities and channels
- Increase market visibility by driving systematic funnel management & grow commercial intensity. Reinforce channel partner engagement & performance excellence
- Build strong relationships with key customers at the strategic & clinical decision level
- Expand partnerships with academic institutions KOLs and medical societies (e.g. Anesthesia Cardiology)
- Partner with Marketing and Product Management teams to develop strategic KOL management programs (User meetings Speaker engagements congresses knowledge exchange white papers ) and expand engagement with reference sites to drive customer satisfaction and state of the art implementation of our clinical differentiation
- Collaborate with marketing to produce clinical evidence and strengthen strategic account relationships
- Ensure readiness for new product introductions (NPIs) including regulatory approvals training and system configurations
Operational Excellence
- Lead the operating reviews (monthly/weekly) and simplify operations through lean thinking and mindset & by prioritizing well defined KPIs in a spirit of continuous improvement and problem solving mindset
- Manage inventory health PSI projections and demonstration efficiency.
- Own performance metrics and implement countermeasures when needed.
Lifecycle & Service Management
- Drive franchise growth with commercial product teams and channel partners with best in class installed base retention in that process and offerings
- Partner with service leadership to achieve service targets (e.g. capture rate) and co-lead the effort to upsell and grow lifecycle revenue
Customer Success & Innovation
- Enable customer success through innovation efficiency & through transformation programs focused on patient safety & user experience enabled by digital technology adoption clinical differentiation & workflow optimization
- Drive customer satisfaction and success through innovation efficiency and transformation programs

Your profile
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Management or a related field;Masters degree preferred
- Significant progressive leadership experiencein Business Management Product Marketing/Development or equivalent roles within thehealthcare industry
- Profound direct experience in the healthcare sector with deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs
- Clear understanding in care areas integrated solutions (emergency surgical & critical care) and clinical pathways
- Proven track record insales product management and/or marketingexperience inhigh-tech capital equipmentis a strong asset
Leadership & Business Acumen
- Strongfinancial acumenand organizational planning capabilities
- Ability tothink on the spot respond quickly to challenges and resolve complex solution pain points
- Skilled inproject management including the development and execution of complex cross-functional plans
- Comfortable navigatingambiguity with strongstrategic agilityrisk assessment andresults orientation
- Exemplarypeople management people and customers centered leadership including strong team building coaching talent growth and sales enablement
- Experience working communicating and partnering with C-level executivesin large healthcare organizations

- Fluent inGerman and English; additional languages are a plus
