Job Description
CT & X-ray Technologist - Full Time
Location: St Paul MN 55110
What you will be doing:
Perform CT exams and assist physician in invasive procedures.
Obtain patient history answer questions and provide the patient with information about the exam and/or procedure.
Work with the radiologists referring clinics and/or patients to ensure the appropriate exams films and medical records are corrected and prepared for the exam.
Ensure all necessary paperwork is accurate and complete for the radiologist referring clinic and the patients medical records.
Stock and/or order department supplies and assist in other departments.
Incorporate company values into daily interactions with internal and external customers.
Experience you will need:
RT (R) (CT) required within one year of employment.
3-6 months general x-ray experience preferred.
6-12 months CT experience preferred.
IV and power contrast injector experience preferred.
CPR certification required.
Knowledge of basic radiologic principles procedures methods and techniques.
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
Excellent patient care problem solving organizational communication and technical skills.
Ability to work independently in a team and with all levels of the organization.
Ability to prioritize tasks and take initiative.
Competent in using a computer keyboard email Imagecast and PACS or similar applications.
