Saratoga Medical has an exciting opportunity for a Cardiovascular Technologistsat Los Angeles CA. This is a great full-time opportunity. Please see qualifications below and submit your resume if you are interested in being considered:
Position Overview:
- Provide support in the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology labs assisting Cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional procedures operating cardiovascular equipment monitoring patients and maintaining documentation in compliance with VA policies.
Qualifications:
- Licensed in a U.S. State Territory or D.C.
- Completion of an accredited CVT program
- Required certificate (RCIS RCES)
- Minimum 12 months recent Cath/EP lab experience within the past 24 months
- Minimum 2 years performing catheterization and electrophysiology lab procedures
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Cardiologists during procedures and perform diagnostic tests (ECG IVUS Holter etc.)
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies
- Prepare and operate catheters guide wires stents and other specialized equipment
- Maintain procedure suite perform quality checks and document patient data using VA systems
- Adhere to VA standards for patient care safety and professional conduct
- Participate in required VA training and orientation
