Job Summary

Column Technical Services is hiring a motivated Outside Sales Representative to lead the onsite sales and marketing operations for a steel fabrication and stamping company in Itasca IL. This key position will develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company goals to drive growth improve customer satisfaction and contribute to organizational success.

**A background in fabrication stamping and rolling and book of business is required.**

Responsibilities

Adhere to company safety policies and maintain a safe working environment
Uphold quality standards through proper procedures and documentation practices
Apply 5S principles for housekeeping and workspace organization
Maintain punctual and consistent attendance
Develop annual sales plans based on company objectives
Lead implementation and oversight of sales policies and practices
Create innovative marketing strategies for products and services
Analyze market trends and competitor activity to recommend improvements
Manage multiple channel sales strategies and execution
Directs empowers and facilitates the growth of the sales and procurement teams.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve operational and production issues
Support cross-functional teams and contribute to shared goals
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Five years of Sales experience
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Sales & Marketing or related field
Industry experience in metal stamping and fabrication
Existing book of business to contribute from day one
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Strategic thinker with a proactive mindset
Effective communicator and relationship-builder
Passion for customer success and satisfaction
Goal-oriented and driven to achieve results
Technical understanding of manufacturing processes
Proven experience in sales and marketing
This position requires occasional travel primarily outside the local area and typically involving overnight stays
