Job Summary

Flagship is the premiere vendor contracted to operate and manage the culinary staff while executing the food service program in partnership with our Client.

The primary objective of this leadership role is to achieve optimal service levels within each of the kitchen operations assigned across the US leading 4-6 Regional Operations Managers with 2nd tier front-line kitchen managers and their frontline team members to achieve operational excellence in the execution of their duties.

You will execute all corporate initiatives through your team members and ensure the continuance of Flagships vales based culture through your actions and achievements in a fast paced and ever changing environment.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for achievingcompany objectives and goals includes butnotlimited to internal and external compliances
  • Partner with Human Resources to meet state/federal compliancesandadherence toCompany policy
  • Alignwithhead of operationsestablishastrong working relationship toidentifyandintegrateadditional value-added programs thataddbest practices anddevelopstrong leadership among kitchen leaders
  • Identify and bring forwardareas of opportunity toincreaseefficiencyandoperational production in food concepts/kitchens
  • Responsible for ensuring monthly training andcompliance needs are completed by deadline
  • Provide weekly/monthly reporting metrics to thehead of operationsin a timely manner
  • May serve as Project Manager during kitchen build-outspartnering with client and internal core support teams to ensure successful opening.
  • Responsible for consistently meeting the CompanysKey Performance Indicators i.e. staffing levels; attrition; safety
  • Work with department heads to create/develop programs and SOPs to establish standards and process flows.
  • Ensures that clientonsitebuilding/campus securitypolicies are adhered to by all Flagship staff
  • Conductsweekly operational meetings with frontline leaders to provide guidance support and motivation in addressing production concerns.
  • Ensure co-employmentexpectationsare well defined and that leaders are operating accordingly
  • Ensure client satisfaction by executing deliverables and showing consistent value
  • Foster and promote the Flagship brandand valueswithin the clients culinary culture.
  • Ensure all staff needs/concerns are triaged and addressed appropriately and in a timely manner. Escalates matters toheadofoperationsor HR as needed.

  • Ability to stay organizedprioritizeandmanage a busy schedule
  • Ability to workwithand support union employees and collaborate with union representatives
  • Able todelegateworkand hold others accountable or achieving neededresults within designated timelines
  • Ability to identify trends interpret datato
  • Ability to quickly fosterstrong inter-personal work relationships
  • Mid to high level skill in navigation/use of common work programs such as Outlook Word PowerPoint andExcel; and communication technology
  • Strong ability to influence positive change
  • Excellent verbal skillswith an ability to adjust communication style to suit the audience.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects on a consistent basis

Education andWorkExperience

  • AA/BA/BS in Hospitality preferred
  • Culinary food and beverage management experiencerequired
  • 5years experience in the corporate food service industrypreferred

Work Environment

  • The workenvironment forincludesthe following large kitchen environment elements and exposures
  • Fast paced kitchen
  • Moderate to high noise level
  • Slippery/uneven surfaces may be encountered

Requirements

  • Must have and maintain an active Management Level Food Handlers Certification (ServSafe) as required by the California Health Department.
