Position Purpose:The Vendor Compliance Coordinator plays a critical role in the support of the DTS/RDC PO Fulfillment compliance program. Associates in this role will be responsible for processing compliance dispute packages submitted by addition they will work directly with our merchandising vendors to drive supply chain performance improvements. Some of the key tasks associated with this role include the following: processing vendor dispute packages understanding both external and internal challenges with the DTS and RDC programs and partnering with internal business partners to root cause issues proactively engaging top offenders and partnering with them to understand issues and implement corrective actions as needed and identifying process improvement opportunities within the overall compliance program.
Key Responsibilities:- 50% Processing vendor dispute packages for the DTS and RDC programs
- 30% Proactively engaging top offenders to root cause issues and drive performance improvements
- 10% Partnering with internal business partners to root cause supply chain issues drive corrective action
- 10% Identifying process improvement opportunities within the Compliance program
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:- Position reports to the Manager Supplier Performance
- No direct responsibility for supervising others.
Travel Requirements:- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with web based applications.
Minimum Education:- The knowledge skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelors degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
