Job Summary
Were seeking an Assistant Manager to join our Benbrook team! In this role youll play a crucial part in ensuring smooth range operations supervising staff supporting the manager and maintaining ATF compliance standards. This is more than just a jobits a career opportunity for someone with attention to detail and a commitment to efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise range operations including staff scheduling and oversight
- Train staff and ensure compliance with Forms 4473
- Manage inventory and maintain proper storage procedures
- Handle cash management and secure funds during opening/closing
- Oversee facility maintenance and equipment repair/replacement
- Enforce safety policies and company standards
- Attend regular ATF and OSHA compliance training
- Work within budgeted man-hours
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in business or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of retail experience with at least 1 year in leadership
- Working knowledge of range operations
- Ability to obtain NRA Range Safety Officer certification NRA Pistol Trainer certifications and Red Cross First Aid certification
- Experience hiring and building strong retail teams
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Experience with firearms operation storage and troubleshooting
- Ability to lift 25 lbs
- Computer literacy
Hours & Availability
This full-time position requires at least 32 hours per week including evenings weekends and holidays (closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day). Weekend availability is mandatory.
