Scope of Position:
Scope of Position: The Community Engagement Manager develops and executes outreach strategies builds partnerships with community organizations and expands workforce service accessibility through targeted engagement efforts.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with agencies to build a positive collaborative working relationship
- Meet with educational institutions to learn about their programs and services
- Meet with community organizations to learn about their missions and share information about our mission and goals
- Work with the Career Advisors to determine if additional partner agencies are desired to meet the needs of our customers
- Maintain current knowledge of state and local guidelines and regulations
- Communicate with other departments and management to resolve problems
- Disseminate information about our program to community-based organizations
- Schedule onsite presentations by community partners for our customers
- Actively communicate with and update community-based organizations on our program
- Develop strategies with staff on how to best work with all agencies educational institutions and community-based organizations
- Meet performance criteria on a weekly monthly and annual basis
- Act as a liaison between various departments to meet customer needs
- Other opportunities as available
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and 510 years of relevant leadership experience
- Experience in human services sales training and interpersonal skills
- Experience in a team-oriented environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Regional travel is required
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite and other required locations
- Must have a current and valid drivers license and a clean driving record
