The opportunity

As a Technical Services Engineer (TSE) you will be based in Orlando and report to the Technical Standards and Service Manager in Hamburg (Germany). You will play a critical role in ensuring that aircraft wheel and brake components meet both regulatory and internal standards. You will be responsible for reviewing technical records verifying component conditions and managing documentation in our Quantum Control system.


You will work independently while collaborating closely with internal departments customers brokers and maintenance providers to clarify technical matters and ensure compliance. Youll also support maintenance planning by determining work scopes and issuing repair orders when needed.


The primary tasks

  • Review component technical records provided by customers brokers and MROs for sufficiency and compliance.
  • Track component configuration time life and maintenance history using Quantum Control.
  • Verify component conditions; conduct physical inspections when needed.
  • Create repair orders on behalf of Maintenance Planning if required.
  • Communicate with internal teams and external partners to clarify technical matters related to component technical records.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent technical qualifications.
  • 2 years of experience in aeronautical product maintenance or holding an A&P or AMT certification.
  • Comfortable working independently and in international environments.


It is an advantage if you have:

  • Knowledge with Quantum Control software.
  • Strong technical understanding of aircraft wheel & brake components.


Skills and Attributes

  • Relevant experience in quality or technical capacity in the aerospace industry.
  • Strong computer (soft) skills including full Microsoft Office Suite including Project and SharePoint.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
