Department Overview

Delivery of product information to Sales and Marketing to drive the value of the Protected Places Program and Rave Product Suite to increase the sale and reduce attrition. Through a series of continual initiatives with these stakeholders our customers and extending to citizen engagement the team is responsible for the success of the program and safety tools.


Job Description

In this role you will support Community Engagement around the Protected Places Program and all community facing Motorola Solutions safety tools. This role is ideal for someone passionate about innovative technology that Solves for Safer connecting communities and stakeholders with those responsible for their safety. This Senior Community Engagement Specialist will assist in the development and implementation of strategies to drive participation in Motorolas consumer and enterprise-facing applications. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented a team player and possess strong communication skills. This position reports directly to the Community Engagement Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and execution of community engagement initiatives.
  • Support local regional and national marketing campaigns.
  • Help maintain relationships with customers and community groups.
  • Assist in the creation of awareness materials.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure assets align with goals and objectives.
  • Provide support for marketing onboarding and training materials.
  • Monitor trends in public engagement and adoption of applications.
  • Assist in tracking testimonials and building case studies.
  • Help manage campaign schedules.
  • Assist in measuring program performance and analyzing data.

Required Knowledge Skills Abilities:

  • 4 years of experience in community engagement product strategy marketing customer success or a related field.
  • Understanding of communication strategies.
  • Strong communication and listening skills.
  • Good networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to adapt communication style for different audiences.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to assist in developing public information programs.
  • Ability to respond to information requests in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the creation of visual assets for marketing campaigns with a willingness to learn and develop design skills.
  • Some form of government or law enforcement knowledge is a plus.
  • Bilingual (Written Verbal) Spanish ia a plus.

Target Base Salary Range: $85000 - $120000

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge skills and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
