Company:
The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manufacturing Manager (Level L) to support the E-7A Teams based in Oklahoma City OK.
The Senior Manufacturing Manager will drive and coordinate the manufacturing of Korea and UK E7 platforms work with in-country teams to resolve issues and remove roadblocks to reduce production impacts.
Position Responsibilities:
- Work with management team to ensure daily work plan is deployed
- Work with supplier to acquire resources required to execute modification
- Provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Work closely with IE team to review and approve mod plans
- Report out progress to plan to Program
- Maintain compliance to PRO-9 when dealing with Modification Supplier
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with suppliers customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports
- Gathers information concerning previously identified issues coordinate with appropriate resource and track issues to resolution
- Provides advanced technical knowledge and leadership to manufacturing projects that affect organization efficiency
- Monitors activities to ensure that suppliers produce conforming and compliant product on time
- Identifies establishes and maintains priorities for deliveries of products services and data.
- Communicates across functions to report status and concerns
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- 5 years of experience leading and working with cross-functional teams
- 3 years of experience leading teams to achieve planned business goals and objectives and improvement activities utilizing BPS principles and processes
- 3 years of experience in advising and influencing others to meet quality and safety requirements or resolve technical or operational problems
- 3 yearsof experience leading and managing employees
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment while managing competing priorities
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint etc.)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors Degree or higher
