IT Support Specialist

• Have technical knowledge of current industry trends.
• Have experience with Microsoft System Center or a similar service/asset system.
• Possess strong customer service skills.
• Can read understand and use technical manuals procedural documentation and OEM guides.
• Ability to conduct research on IT related problems and products.
• Strong interpersonal written and communication skills.
• Possess the ability to communicate technical terminology to the user community in a way they can relate to and understand.
• Be self-motivated and directed and pays close attention to detail.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to keep up the pace of a high-pressure environment by prioritizing and task dividing.
• Have experience working in a team-oriented collaborative environment.
• Provide technical assistance and support for colleague issues.
• Maintain daily performance of computer systems.
• Interact with colleagues via multiple methods including in person through email / messaging or over the phone.
• Train users on new software.
• Build set up and maintain computer workstations.
• Provide technical assistance for more complex issues and document solutions.

• 0-3 years experience.
• Experience supporting a user community remotely over dispersed locations.
• Excellent technical knowledge of IT related hardware such as laptops desktops multi-function printers peripherals large format printers and copiers.
• 2 years hardware and software troubleshooting experience in a business environment.

Salary range for this position varies between $45000 $65000 depending upon applicable experience.
