Job Title:Medical Assistant
Location:Lexington NE
Type:Contract
Schedule:Mon Wed & Fri: 7:00 AM 4:00 PM Tue & Thu: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
Pay Rate:$21 $24 per hour
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Medical Assistant for an exciting Local job in Lexington NE.
Responsibilities
- Greet and room patients obtain vitals and assist with exams
- Perform phlebotomy/venipuncture administer vaccines conduct POC testing and perform EKGs
- Manage patient scheduling answer phones and update EMR records accurately
- Support clinical staff with daily operations and provide excellent patient care
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain an efficient and professional work environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant (in addition to externship)
- Certification as a Medical Assistant strongly preferred
- Experience in Occupational Health preferred
- Proficiency with EMR systems phlebotomy and venipuncture required
- BLS or CPR certification required
- Strong attention to detail communication skills and computer proficiency
- Commitment to health education outreach and patient-centered care
