It is a truly exciting time to join us here at GKN Automotive in Hungary. We built a brand new manufacturing facility on the outskirts of Miskolc 2 years ago which includes assembly and office accommodation. Our Miskolc facility is a key regional facility for the driveline technologies that GKN Automotive supply to our global customer base. We employ hundreds of colleagues from the local community and will continue to develop the site over time.

What will you be developed on to succeed in this role
- Supporting supplier strategy development for locally managed commodities
- Assisting in material savings projects and technical change support
- Participating in supplier negotiations and contract preparations
- Helping the team reach plant savings targets
- Analyzing spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Monitoring supplier performance (cost delivery quality)
- Supporting cross-functional teams (Quality Supply Chain) during escalations
- Contributing to supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives
- Participating in the creation of procurement reports and presentations
- Supporting thelocal procurement teamlocal manager andEast regional directorwith data insights and coordination
- Learning and applying procurement best practices and business ethics
What are we looking for
- Degree in economics / business or engineering
- Proficient in English
- Effectively using MS Office tools to improve daily work
- Capability to work both in teams and alone within an international environment
- Results orientation analytical thinking excellent problem solving skills
