SUMMARY
Coordinates food service activities of establishment by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Promotes and follows LJBTC Inc.s Signature Service standards and requirements ensuring a lasting impression of exemplary service resulting in supremely satisfied and loyal members and guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
OUTCOME
The manager is expected to lead motivate and educate the restaurant staff toward the successful completion of the established goals. The successful coordinator of all aspects of the restaurant operations will result in satisfied employees and customers.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages subordinate supervisors who supervise employees in the restaurant. Responsible for the overall direction coordination and evaluation of this unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing hiring and training employees; planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Fifth year college or university program certificate; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information in English and respond to questions from groups of managers clients customers and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest commissions proportions percentages area circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form. Ability to deal with stress and multiple problem-solving situations.
CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS
Must have and maintain a current Food Handlers Card & RBS. Must have a valid California Drivers License.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Ability to use a networked PC effectively with a working knowledge of word-processing software (WordPerfect or Word) and spreadsheets (Lotus 123 or Excel).

While performing the duties of this job the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions fumes or airborne particles toxic or caustic chemicals risk of electrical shock burns from hot equipment and lacerations from sharp objects. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The pace is generally moderate and may be quite fast.

INTERACTION
Employees in this position have daily interaction with guests kitchen and dining service personnel. Employees also have frequent interaction with Human Resources Purchasing Membership Engineering other department managers and Accounting. Employees have occasional interaction with other department staff and supervisors and E.O.C. members.
SCHEDULING
This company operates seven days a week 24 hours a day. At times it will be necessary to move you from your accustomed schedule as task assignments demand. In addition it should be understood that business needs determine the amount of hours that you work.
