HR / MR Driver or Forklift Operator

Northline are on the lookout for a HR/MR Driver or Forklift Operator to join our Townsville team. Ideally you will enjoy working in a small team thrive in a fast-paced environment and have strong multi-tasking skills. We currently have a casual position available Monday to Friday day shifts commencing form approx. 7:30am to 3:30pm.

As an experienced HR/MR Driver or Forklift Operator you will be responsible for local pickup and deliveries in the metro area as well as the safe and efficient loading and unloading of PUD linehaul and containers with a variety of freight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Local pickup anddelivery in the Townsville metro area using company owned vehicle;
• Loading and unloading a range of general over-sized blended and long length interstate freight on mezzanine floor trailers linehaul trailers local vehicles and containers.
• Manual handling;
• Ensure yard/working areas are kept organised and tidy.

As a successful candidate you will:

• Hold a current Forklift Licence (LF) - Required.
• Hold a current HR or MR Drivers Licence Highly advantageous.
• Be able to manually handle freight up to 20kgs;
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders;
• Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised.
