We are currently seekingJob Coaches/Mentorsto assist individuals in the Washtenaw County MI area with vocational training. These positions are perfect for individuals seeking part-time work who have flexible availability. Day evening and weekend shifts are offered. Total hours during the week range between 10 to 20 hours based on the job mentors availability.
What youll do as a Job Coach/Mentor: - Provide valuable service by supporting individuals to effectively complete job duties and achieve long-term employment in community-based settings
- Assess the strengths of individuals and teach them to use them effectively
- Guide clients in learning to complete job tasks
- Help in the development of motivation and skills
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of clients
What you will need to be a Job Coach/Mentor: - High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills
- Good problem-solving and organizational skills
- Positive mentoring and modeling skills
- Pass a criminal background check
- Must have reliable transportation
Physical Requirements for a Job Coach/Mentor: - Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to stoop bend and reach
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
