The bigger picture

Were on the lookout for a proactive and team-oriented Desktop Administrator to join us at our College Avenue location in Regina Saskatchewan! In this role youll be at the heart of Conexus technology infrastructuremanaging hardware software and security systems that keep our organization running smoothly. Youll work closely with internal partners to troubleshoot issues improve efficiency and help deliver a seamless experience for our members. How youll be spending your time

  • Managing the organizations desktop and laptop hardware software applications and print management:
    • Deploy install configure support problem solve decommission/evergreen
    • Package and deploy basic applications
    • Create and deploy device images (e.g. laptops desktops)
    • Manage print queues add and remove printers test new drivers in the environment
    • Asset management of laptops desktops and peripherals
  • Supporting organizational systems security
    • System and security patching
    • Maintaining and supporting system and group policy (security)
    • Virus management scanning systems detecting and removing viruses
  • Supporting internal partners through the provision of tier 2 problem resolution on technical issues and business operations (e.g. diagnose and resolve or escalate issues internally or externally)

You bring excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities thrive in collaborative team environments and communicate effectively to support internal partners and drive technical solutions. The experience you bring

  • Relevant post-secondary education
  • 2 years experience in an Enterprise IT department supporting Windows desktop technologies
  • Proficiency with computer hardware and a wide range of applications that include but are not limited to Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Basic knowledge of various networking technologies
  • Experience with SCCM Intune ADDS GPO and Workspot is an asset
  • Must have a valid drivers license and be willing to travel

Salary Range:

$62110 - $77640 with 9% Short Term Incentive Target
