Job Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality emergency care to pediatric patients in a high-volume setting (55000 annual visits).
• Collaborate closely with subspecialty teams including PICU CVICU NICU and hospitalists to manage complex cases.
• Work alongside a strong support team including child life specialists and pediatric social workers.
• Engage in bedside teaching and supervision of Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Family Practice residents.
• Participate in training and didactic sessions for Pediatric ER fellows if desired.
• Benefit from full scribe coverage to optimize patient care and documentation.
• Work fair balanced shifts with potential for overtime.

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
• Fellowship trained in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
• Nevada Medical License or eligibility to obtain.
• Clean malpractice and medical license history (highly preferred).
• Willingness to relocate if not already a resident of the area.
• Visa support may be required (J1 or H1B).

Licenses and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine (required).
• Fellowship training in Pediatric Emergency Medicine (required).
• Nevada Medical License or eligibility to obtain (required).
• Clean malpractice and medical license history (highly preferred).
