Permanent Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunity in Las Vegas NV
Pediatrix is excited to invite a Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship-trained physician to join our dynamic and supportive team at a bustling childrens emergency department in vibrant Las Vegas NV. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality emergency care to pediatric patients in a high-volume setting (55000 annual visits).
- Collaborate closely with subspecialty teams including PICU CVICU NICU and hospitalists to manage complex cases.
- Work alongside a strong support team including child life specialists and pediatric social workers dedicated to ER presence.
- Engage in bedside teaching and supervision of Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Family Practice residents from six programs.
- Participate in training and didactic sessions for Pediatric ER fellows if desired.
- Benefit from full scribe coverage to optimize patient care and documentation.
- Work fair balanced shifts with the potential for overtime if desired.

Qualifications:
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine REQUIRED
- Fellowship trained in Pediatric Emergency Medicine REQUIRED
- Nevada Medical License or eligibility to obtain REQUIRED
- Clean malpractice and medical license history HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Must either currently reside in the area or be willing to relocate REQUIRED
- Must note if visa support (J1 or H1B) is required in submission details REQUIRED
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
- Fellowship training in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
- Valid Nevada Medical License or eligibility to obtain one.
