High Point University invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor of Chemistry position beginning August 2026. This is a renewable non-tenure track appointment offering the potential for multi-year contracts and advancement to Associate and Full Professor ranks.

The Department of Chemistry supports this mission with modern teaching and research facilities including advanced instrumentation ( successful candidate will teach both introductory and advanced chemistry courses in their area of expertise engage undergraduates in meaningful research experiences and contribute to departmental school and university service initiatives. While all specializations are welcome to apply preference will be given to candidates who can leverage our current instrumentation. The successful candidate will have access to startup and institutional research and professional development funding as well as dedicated laboratory space in the 128000 square-foot Wanek School of Natural Sciences.
A Ph.D. in chemistry or a closely related field is required; postdoctoral experience is preferred.
