Responsibilities may include:
- Performing face to face assessments and ongoing psychiatric visits with clients of all ages with an emphasis of those over the age of fifty.
- Maintaining current patient records in order to clearly state problems plans actions goals and changes as they occur.
- Instructing client caregivers.
- Managing client medications.
Requirements for this position include:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- PMHNP license required.
- Experience in psychiatric mental and behavioral health services.
- Outpatient and tele-psychiatry experience is preferred.
- Willingness to work with a variety of ages including children/adolescents.
- Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
