The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Procurement Agent to join our Supply Chain (SC) Propulsion team in Everett WA.
As an integral member of the SC Propulsion team you will be working in a dynamic fast-paced environment solving complex problems and working directly with OEMs and their sub-tiers. You will be interfacing with 767 Program Leaders Engineering Manufacturing Quality and many other stakeholders. This role requires blending strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution enabling the organization to effectively achieve and maintain recovery action plans. The Statement of Work includes standard Supply Chain Management functions data analysis scenario planning and support to mid-level and senior level Management.
Position Responsibilities: Posted here per SJCS guidelines adjust and make changes as needed
Provides oversight and management of supply and demand schedules supplier quality delivery and performance.
Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues.
Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities within Propulsion.
Engagement and deployment of process and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier strategies.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
3 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
3 years of experience managing supplier quality and delivery performance
3 years of experience interacting with customers (both internal and external) at all levels on a one-on-one basis and in group settings
3 years of experience in Microsoft Office applications such as Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint
Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed (less than 10% may be required)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
3 years of experience in the deployment and administration of policies procedures and processes
3 years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain processes
3 years of experience in Manufacturing
Bachelors degree in business administration Supply Chain Management or related field
