Job Description
Summit Technologies Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Public Key Infrastructure Team Lead (PKI-TL) to serve as Key Personnel supporting a federal program. The PKI-TL will provide leadership and expertise in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) policies emerging technologies and identity management standards (NIST ICAM). The PKI-TL will support the Program Manager in policy analysis stakeholder coordination compliance activities and communications to ensure the program aligns with federal and industry standards. This position will be an on-site role at the designated primary location five (5) days a week unless otherwise agreed upon by the Government. For this instance it will be in Manassas VA.You must have a DoD Top Secret Clearance. This is for a proposal that is in its early stages and this contract has not been awarded yet.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical and policy liaison for PKI and identity management matters supporting the Program Manager and contractor team.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of current and emerging PKI policies and technologies as well as relevant NIST ICAM standards and publications.
- Assist with policy analysis providing recommendations to enhance program compliance and efficiency.
- Ensure program activities comply with PKI policies NIST guidelines and industry best practices.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate policy implementation compliance reporting and technical guidance.
- Support program communications briefing leadership and staff on PKI and identity management initiatives changes or impacts.
- Advise the program team on risks opportunities and strategic considerations related to PKI and identity and access management.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in PKI policy and technology analysis compliance and stakeholder coordination.
- Strong understanding of NIST ICAM standards and identity management practices.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with experience briefing leadership and facilitating collaboration across teams.
- Experience in strategic or policy analysis in federal IT or cybersecurity projects is highly desirable.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Cybersecurity Computer Science Public Policy or related discipline.
- In lieu of a degree an additional 5 years of experience performing strategic and policy analysis on projects with similar technologies may be substituted.
- Professional certifications in cybersecurity IT governance or identity management (e.g. CISSP CISM ICAM-related certifications) are desirable but not required.
Clearance Requirements
- Must have a DoD Top Secret Clearance based on contract requirements.
