Key Responsibilities
Project Documentation & Coordination
- Review organize and distribute contract documents drawings specifications RFIs shop drawings and submittals.
- Maintain logs of RFIs meeting notes and project correspondence.
- Attend field coordination meetings and distribute meeting minutes to relevant stakeholders.
- Administer project closeout documentation including O&M manuals startup reports owner training and punch lists.
Scope & Procurement Support
- Assist in tracking and reporting changes to project scope.
- Maintain equipment procurement logs and track tool/equipment rentals.
- Coordinate equipment orders and shipping schedules with the Purchasing Department.
Safety Compliance
- Conduct site walkthroughs and inspections to ensure compliance with safety requirements.
- Support the implementation of site-specific safety plans audits toolbox talks and pre-task planning.
- Proficient in using Industry Safe software for safety documentation.
Estimating & Cost Tracking
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to estimate projects.
- Perform basic project estimating using industry software.
- Assist in producing letters of scope/proposal.
- Track labor productivity and job costs in accounting software alongside the project manager and field foreman.
Qualifications Required
- 2 years of experience in the building and construction industry preferably in commercial mechanical construction.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to read/comprehend construction documents.
- Proven organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Qualifications Preferred
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Construction Management or related field.
- Knowledge of design techniques tools and mechanical system principles.
- Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $52702 - $79054 annually (based on experience and qualifications)
- Bonus: Variable up to 10%
