Graduate Autism Support Worker Barking & Dagenham September Start

Your role as a Graduate Autism Support Worker will include:
Providing 1:1 support for a Year 4 pupil with Autism in a mainstream setting.
Helping the pupil remain regulated and engaged in their learning.
Working collaboratively with the Class Teacher SENDCo parents and the Educational Psychologist.
Supporting the pupil through their work and encouraging progress.
Ensuring the child has access to the curriculum and develops both academically and socially.
Essential requirements for the Graduate Autism Support Worker role:
A 1:1 or 2:1 degree from a top 20 UK University.
A genuine desire to progress into Teacher Training or Psychology.
Proactive dedicated and flexible approach to daily challenges.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a team.
Previous child-based experience is desirable.
