Are you a seasoned security professional ready to lead with confidence and make a real impact MSS Security is seeking a Retail Security Supervisor to oversee operations at Stockland Hervey Bay ensuring the safety and security of the site through effective leadership and adherence to company protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support the on-site security team daily
- Conduct thorough inductions for new staff in line with MSS policies
- Prepare reports and advise on disciplinary actions when required
- Ensure contract compliance and maintain high standards of quality control
- Act as the primary contact between the client and MSS operations
- Operate and maintain all site-specific security equipment
What You Bring
- Proven experience in supervisory roles within the security industry
- Calm and confident leadership under pressure
- Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid understanding of security protocols and procedures
Essential Requirement
- Current QLD Security Licence (Unarmed Monitoring Crowd Control)
- Full working rights in Australia
- Certificate II or above in Security Operations
- Full QLD Drivers Licence (no restrictions)
- Valid First Aid and CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in retail or customer-facing environments (highly desirable)
