Job Description

Introduction

This role sits at the heart of our Project Management Team reporting to the CEO and working closely with key stakeholders and broader Operations team.

Description

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading all internal projects and provide assistance in executing the firms technology & transformation strategy and will work intimately with the Transformation Committee and will report to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Key tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Technology business case development and project management on current and upcoming technology projects.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders (clients staff external vendors) to test and refine new systems processes and ideas as needed to ensure market fit of innovations from the earliest point through to development and launch.
  • Understand & implement accounting application software within the firm whilst working alongside the IT team operating as the connection between firms managed service provider and the business
  • Understand implement & manage integrations within the firms software stack integrations between accounting softwares document management systems and additional softwares where needed within the application ecosystem of the firm.
  • Manage the migration & purging process of data stores from both on-premise servers and multiple cloud applications to which the firm are subscribed
  • Process improvement of existing systems and processes. Work with internal stakeholders at all levels to map and identify opportunities to improve the business processes in order to:
    • Eliminate process waste
    • Identify the root cause of serious or recurrent client issues with the view to identify and rectify process and user issues
    • Enhance staff experience and understand how technology and process improvement can act as an enabler
    • Deliver greater client experience

  • Vendor management: Identify and re-engineer team specific technology and work practices into singular shared and agreed processes firm- wide. Familiar with problem determination methods (eg. 5 whys fishbone) and corrective action planning.
  • Evolve best practice by understanding our current Tech stack and priority projects.
  • Support the management of external technology supplier agreements to budget and service level agreements (SLA).
  • As needed act as a second port of call in the event the outsourced IT or Applications provider is unable to provide a timely remedy with respect to raised tickets. This includes liaising with outsourced provider/s to minimise downtime and commercial interruption.
  • Operational Support. Ownership of templates/manuals/documents related to projects. Provide support and guidance on SAAS administration training (technology and otherwise) as required from time to time.
  • Asset management and support as needed for hardware software applications training material and IP.

The successful candidate will have

  • Minimum 4 years working in project management or business analyst
  • Degree qualified
  • Experience working in a professional services environment preferred
  • CIMA professional qualifications preferred
  • Prince2 and Lean 6signma Green Belt Accreditation preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrable project management and technology project experience.
