Job Summary
UCHealth is looking for a Locum Physician Cardiovascular Surgeon to fill their need!
Details:
Hospital based
100% Adult
10-15 hospital-based patients on average per day
PPD: 1-2 Admissions 8-10 ICU 1-2 Surgeries
400 Total number of beds
12 ICU Beds
2 Physicians in practice 5 Mid-lvels
Reason for coverage: change in staffing looking to backfill
Level 1 trauma
EMR: Epic
2 Physicians
Required to supervise and provide clinical oversight as appropriate while on call.
No other thoracic surgeons will be present during locum call coverage.
Conversion/perm fee placement cap $25K
90 day credentialing timeframe
Required Procedures:
General CV/Thoracic Surgery - open
Coronary artery bypass surgery - on pump & Off-pump
Congenital defects (ASD< VSD PFO etc.)
Valvular Repair & replacement
Aneurysm Repair - Cardiac & Aorto-thoracic
ECMO Cannulation and Patient stabilization for transport to academic center in Denver.
TAVRs Lead Extraction
Mitraclips
