Are you an experienced Nursery Room Leader looking to step into a leadership role where your skills and passion for early years education will shine
Our client is looking for a warm dedicated Third in Charge to join their beautifully renovated nursery in Farnham just a short walk from the train station. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic early years professional ready to take the next step in their career.
As a Third in Charge you will be an important member of the management team ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery. Youll inspire your team create stimulating learning environments and champion a child-led curiosity-driven approach to education. When required youll step up to support in the absence of the Nursery or Deputy Manager helping maintain high standards and readiness for Ofsted inspections.
What Were Looking For
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a Nursery Room Leader or equivalent.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of child development and the EYFS framework.
- Commitment to safeguarding and maintaining high standards of care.
- A proactive creative and passionate approach to early years education.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a team within one of the nurserys rooms (baby toddler or preschool).
- Create safe engaging and nurturing environments where children can thrive.
- Deliver the EYFS alongside a bespoke play-based curriculum tailored to childrens unique interests.
- Support and mentor colleagues through coaching observations and positive role-modelling.
- Build strong trusting partnerships with families keeping them informed and engaged.
- Ensure safeguarding health and safety standards are consistently upheld.
