We are looking for an Accounting Supervisor who will be responsible for overseeing the work of accounting staff ensuring the timely delivery of accurate financial statements accounts receivable reconciliations and other reporting as required.

Your Mission
- Supervise daily accounting functions including accounts receivable/payable inventory and general ledger entries.
- Manage timely and accurate monthly quarterly and year-end financial closings ensuring adherence to GAAP and relevant legal regulations.
- Establish and maintain internal controls as well as robust accounting policies.
- Summarizes current financial status by collecting information preparing balance sheets profitand-loss statements and other reports.
- Produce financial and statistical reports using Sage300.
- Support month-end activities including reviewing journal entries and reconciling accounts.
- Collaborate on operating budget preparation and financial analysis.
- Ensure company-wide compliance with established accounting policies and procedures while recommending improvements.
- Assist in coordinating efforts with internal and external auditors.
- Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports.
- Proactively identify and implement process enhancements to optimize efficiency.
- Assist in overseeing BioScripts outstanding patient and insurance receivables and related reconciliations; research and resolve payment issues.
- Manage the performance appraisal process for all team members.
What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelors degree in accounting finance or a related field.
- Active CPA or CMA certification or current pursuit of certification is preferred.
- Experience:
- Prior experience in internal or external auditing is preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
- Advanced expertise in Sage300 and Business Central is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering accurate work outputs.
- Advanced computer skills with respect to Microsoft Office accounting software and related databases.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with proven experience interfacing effectively across all levels of management.
- Proficiency in Excel (required) and Power BI (preferred).
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- English proficiency is required for this positionto effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
Compensation: At BioScript your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role level and geographic location.
