Job Summary

Position Summary:

TheDepartment of History at Rollins College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in non-Western history beginning August 2026. The area of interest is open but MAY include Latin America Asia or Africa and MAY NOT include Europe or the US. Preference will be given to candidates with more than one area of geographic specialty and a wide temporal range. The teaching load is a 3:3.

Minimum Qualifications andEducation:

  • PhD degree in History in hand by August 1 2026.
  • Demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence preferably in the liberal arts.
  • Verifiable teaching experience.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with more than one area of geographic specialty.
