**Job Overview:**
United Trades of America is seeking a Carpenter General Laborer to join our team in Metairie LA. This position involves supporting carpenters with general labor tasks including preparing materials assisting with installations and maintaining job site cleanliness. If you have a strong work ethic and are eager to learn this is a great opportunity to grow your skills.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist carpenters with cutting measuring and assembling materials.
- Support the installation of structures such as walls doors and windows.
- Operate hand and power tools as needed.
- Help maintain a safe clean and organized worksite.
- Follow instructions and blueprints provided by supervisors.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in construction or carpentry is preferred.
- Ability to use basic tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
**Pay:** $18 - $25 per hour (based on experience)
