Responsibilities
  • Directs the dailydepartment management meetingcommunicates expectations and addresses issuesand concerns.
  • Oversees allactivityaffectingproperty addresses problems immediatelyand resolves items needingrepair or improvement. Escalate issuesas needed.
  • Reviews claims and disputes. Address andfollow up on guestcomment cards as needed.
  • Reviewsdepartment reports impacting guest service. Resolvesguest impact points as needed.
  • Analyzesand evaluates operational productivity. Determines and recommendsareas of potential cost reduction program improvement and/or policychanges.
  • Develops and maintains departmental operatingbudget for the fiscalyear.
  • Partners with accounting and operations management to design and implement internal controls and guest serviceenhancements fornew andexisting game/venueofferings promotions events and programs.
  • Ensuresregulatorycompliancewith CherokeeNation GamingCommission (CNGC) MICS Title31 Title26 and applicablecompanypoliciesand procedures.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.



Qualifications

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 to 4 years of casino operations experience or an equivalent combination of formal education casino operations and/or leadership experience.

Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning resource allocation leadership techniques production methods and coordination of people and resources.

Excellent written communication presentation and computer skills including working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to identify alternative solutions conclusions or approaches to problems.

Excellent cash handling skills.

Must have and maintain a valid drivers license.

Ability to obtain and maintain a state-issued liquor license.

Must pass the Alcohol Awareness training provided by CNE or equivalent.

Ability to obtain and maintain licensing from the appropriate gaming authority.
