Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Nursing Associates degree in Nursing Diploma RN or Masters degree in Nursing.
Must be a graduate of an accredited RN nursing program.
Minimum of one (1) year of Registered Nursing experience.
Valid Registered Nursing License

Responsibilities:
Performs thorough assessments of oncology patients before and after surgical procedures monitoring for symptoms side effects or complications.
Coordinates care plans in collaboration with surgeons oncologists and multidisciplinary teams.
Educates patients and families about surgical procedures recovery expectations wound care medication management and follow-up plans.
Provides emotional support and education tailored to cancer diagnoses and surgical treatment.
Triages patient phone calls and clinic visits to assess urgency of symptoms or complications.
Initiates appropriate interventions or escalate care when needed.
Supports providers during minor surgical procedures or wound care in the clinic setting.
Ensures sterile technique accurate documentation and patient comfort throughout.
Administers medications including injections or IV therapies if applicable and monitor for adverse reactions or effectiveness.
Ensures accurate documentation in EPIC and adherence to oncology safety protocols.
Schedules imaging labs and specialist referrals as needed.
Monitors patient progress through treatment and ensure timely follow-ups and care transitions.
May perform other duties as assigned.
