Currently we provide virtual and in-person mental health services including comprehensive evaluations medication- management and therapy across Pennsylvania and Virginia with plans to expand to new markets in 2025.
Position Summary:
Blackbird Healths Care Navigators are an integral part of our integrated and collaborative care team. This isnt just an administrative role; youre the essential first step in a familys care journey. Your work sets the tone for a trusting and supportive relationship with our families and enables our clinical team to deliver world-class care.
What makes you you:
- A Connector: You have a passion for helping people and can easily build rapport with families from diverse backgrounds.
- A Critical Thinker: Youre a natural problem-solver who can manage multiple moving parts and anticipate potential issues before they arise.
- Detail-Oriented: You have a high degree of organizational skills and a meticulous approach to administrative tasks from data entry to document management.
- Experienced: You have at least 1-3 years of experience in a customer/patient-facing role ideally within a healthcare or fast-paced professional environment. Experience within the behavioral health space is also a plus. Digital & tech savviness is critical - comfort with electronic health records (EHR) and patient engagement platforms is a plus.
How youll make an impact:
- Build Trusting Relationships: Be the welcoming voice of Blackbird connecting with new families to understand their needs and guide them through our intake process. Youll be their go-to person for questions setting the stage for a positive care experience.
- Solve Problems with Tenacity: Navigate the complexities of healthcare with keen attention to detail a why mindset and a relentless drive to get things right. Our Navigators ensure all details are handled correctly so nothing falls through the cracks.
- Enable the Care Journey: Handle the crucial administrative work that makes everything else possible. Youll manage patient communications scheduling collecting and organizing all necessary paperwork and ultimately ensuring a seamless efficient process for both the family and our team.
- Contribute to a Mission-Driven Team: Youll collaborate with a compassionate and intelligent team working in a hybrid model (at least 3 days/week in our Mount Laurel office) to ensure our services run smoothly and our patients get the care they need.

Salary Range
$21 - $24 USD
