Job Description
Role: WebLogic Administrator

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Application Database Administrator with a strong background in Oracle Enterprise Applications and WebLogic Administration. This role requires expertise in managing enterprise-class applications such as EBusiness PeopleSoft JDEdwards Hyperion OBIEE WebLogic and Retek. The DBA will be responsible for database/application management tuning migrations backup/recovery patching and troubleshooting in highly available enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Oracle databases and enterprise applications (EBusiness PeopleSoft JDEdwards Hyperion OBIEE WebLogic Retek).
- Perform WebLogic Server installation configuration clustering patching deployment and tuning.
- Manage capacity planning security enforcement and performance optimization.
- Handle data conversion/migration projects including large data sets transformations and validations.
- Troubleshoot production issues perform log analysis and deliver root cause resolutions.
- Support highly available infrastructure including load balancing application clusters and access management.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries stored procedures triggers and database performance tuning (Oracle/SQL Server/DB2).
- Automate and monitor tasks using UNIX/Linux shell scripting.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6 10 years of hands-on experience as a WebLogic Administrator in enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in JDBC JMS JNDI and WebLogic security configuration.
- Proven SQL development and optimization skills.
- Experience with data conversion bulk data handling and migration projects.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-resolution capabilities.
- Familiarity with UNIX/Linux environments for scripting and automation.
